Galvin Leatherworks was founded on the simple principle of creating a quality handmade product for everyday needs. Charlie Galvin is the Leathersmith behind the design and production here. Charlie began working with leather after visiting his best friend who was working in a leather shop. Once he picked up the tools they just felt right in his hand. He started looking for ways that leather goods could fill roles within his own life. As his skills increased so too did the usefulness of the pieces created. Others began to take notice and sent requests for items specific to themselves. Still taking custom orders, but the product line of quality handmade items has grown as the tried and true items became obvious.
"My design process is deeply founded in keeping my eyes open to the world around me. Many of my products will show signs of Celtic influence, as well as growing up as a nerd with a Nintendo controller always in hand. I look to the past for product ideas that stood the test of time. I look to the future to see what gaps in our digital world still need a touch of old world creativity." Says Galvin.

In 2016 Deborah and Bernard Williams exhibited as Vendors at HAUTE Accessories Week, however upon discovering their fabulous collection being displayed on the floor, we invited them to feature five pieces on the runway.
